The Blue Vein exhibition explores a wide variety of art and design work. The pieces being displayed range from Urban photography to the exploration of language and words. A great range of ideas are explored within this exhibition, including: an autobiographical piece of work looking at political class within two different cities, the stages of renovation of a victorian subway into a boutique hotel, and looking at the question ‘is music a universal language?’ As well as the general meaning and messages of the exhibited work being in great contrast with one another, the overall techniques and methods used in the production of the art and design work varies too, using both physical and digital tools to create alternative and exciting outcomes. The members of our group settled on this name ‘The Blue Vein’ as it links everyones work together in a clear and simple way; each piece of work in one way or another includes the colour blue.
