My exhibition is based on my title ‘back to future past’. This exhibition of mine focuses on the 1980’s. In the 80’s it was always depicted as fun and carefree and I wanted to portray this yet again, because as we look around us, it's a lot more evident that things have gotten a lot harder as time has gone on but not in every aspect. In this exhibition I wanted to bring back that sense of fun and carefree attitude and I did this through pattern and colour on a garment and these elements were inspired by the 1980’s and architecture.
