My exhibition pieces focus mainly on gender. In Anime, characters are often depicted in one way or another but I wanted to go against norms and create characters that are potentially gender fluid. I created strong, powerful and androgynous characters by using close friends as reference, always keeping both genders (or no gender?) in mind when drawing. My main influence is Hirohiko Araki.
